Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? SPONGEbob Squarepants!! In this activity we learned about the properties of sponges and the science behind absorption. We then created art pieces with these sponges by cutting out shapes and pressing them in paint, like a stamp. The hole pattern from the sponge was shown in our paintings. We also added small details with pens and markers to make our shapes into creative drawings like a bear and a star!
