Have you seen people still working with their masks on during the pandemic? These are essential workers: firefighters, teachers, healthcare workers, construction workers, the list goes on. We learned how to show our appreciation for these workers who are risking their lives to provide us with our daily operations. Kaylea Powell, a guest teacher, taught us how to make pop-up Thank You cards. We wrote letters for our hardworking mail carriers to show our appreciation and left them in our mailboxes or delivered them directly. Although we couldn’t see their smiles through their masks, we’re sure it brightened up their day!
