“All you need to paint is a few tools, a little instruction, and a vision in your mind.”

- Bob Ross

Did you know crayons are made of wax? These crayons are hydrophobic and repel water. That’s why when we drew a picture with our white crayon and then painted over it with watercolor paint, our picture appeared? The crayon didn’t absorb the paint like the paper did. We mixed different colors and created a beautiful art piece! When the paintbrush had a lot of water on it, the colors were easier to mix. We also thought about how else we could use this craft. We can paint it to hang up in our room, but we can also make this craft on the front of a Thank You card and give it to someone.
